At a glance
Supported Qatar Airways' digital brand experience in two distinct capacities: first through agency-side destination-content and search programs, and later within the airline itself, managing content and web operations across a complex international site network. The in-house role included destination and travel pages, corporate content, Business Class pages, in-flight entertainment and dining, environmental responsibility initiatives, and more.
The challenge
Qatar Airways' digital presence serves audiences in many countries and languages, supporting both commercial bookings and the broader brand experience. Customers may be researching destinations, comparing cabin experiences, exploring onboard services, or looking for authoritative information about the airline's corporate commitments.
At this scale, launching or expanding a section is only part of the task. Brand standards, accuracy, localization, navigation, publishing workflows and quality assurance must hold across many markets and contributors.
My in-house contribution | 2020–2022
Working with geographically distributed stakeholders and teams, I managed and coordinated content across the airline's global web ecosystem.
The work included:
- Destination and travel experiences: Managing content and updates for travel-related pages, balancing promotional needs with useful destination information and consistent presentation.
- Premium product storytelling: Supporting the launch and expansion of Business Class digital pages, translating cabin and service features into engaging web experiences appropriate to the brand.
- Inflight entertainment: Helping launch and expand pages explaining onboard entertainment offerings and related passenger experiences.
- Corporate and environmental content: Supporting the launch and expansion of environmental responsibility and other corporate information pages, where accuracy, consistency and stakeholder review were especially important.
- Multilingual web delivery: Coordinating content, localization and QA across a web presence spanning 73 websites and 13 languages.
- Ongoing web governance: Using enterprise publishing workflows and working with distributed teams to maintain content quality, brand consistency and operational accuracy as the site evolved.
Earlier agency work | RBBi, 2014–2017
Before joining Qatar Airways internally, I worked on its digital content as part of RBBi's agency team. This was a separate assignment with a strong search and content-strategy focus.
The historical work included developing content strategy for a large-scale destination and travel landing-page program, with 3,000+ SEO- and UX-oriented pages across 13 languages cited in my 2016 portfolio. I worked on content prototypes and managed copywriting delivery with designers and UX specialists, balancing discoverability with destination usefulness and the booking journey.
That agency work formed part of the Qatar Airways campaign recognized with Gold for Best Search Marketing Campaign at the 2016 MENA Digital Awards.

Outcome
The in-house work supported the delivery, expansion and ongoing quality of prominent destination, cabin, entertainment and corporate experiences across Qatar Airways' multilingual web network. The agency work demonstrates a distinct capability: designing and scaling destination-search content within a structured, award-recognized program.
What this demonstrates
Enterprise-scale digital marketing calls for more than compelling copy. It requires coordinated delivery, strong review processes, an understanding of the customer journey and the ability to protect a premium brand across numerous teams, markets and languages.
