At a glance
Helped develop and launch customer-facing marketing for Geidea's portfolio of fintech products, including payment-terminal, payment-gateway, and payment-link propositions, while building a consistent bilingual content operation. The work combined product marketing, launch messaging, website and campaign content, sales materials, and an English/Arabic editorial program of approximately 200 blog posts per year.
The challenge
Payment technology is complex, yet most merchants evaluate it through practical questions: How will I get paid? Will this work with my business? How much setup is required? Can it support the way my customers prefer to pay?
At Geidea, the additional challenge was breadth. The company served multiple markets and offered different payment and merchant-technology solutions, each requiring clear positioning, consistent brand communication, and locally appropriate explanations.
My contribution
Joining during an important period of product and marketing expansion, I helped translate evolving product capabilities into clear, market-ready content and coordinated campaigns supporting launches and adoption.
The work included:
- Payment-terminal launches: Developing customer-facing narratives and assets that explained card acceptance, device benefits and merchant use cases.
- Payment-gateway marketing: Supporting the introduction and promotion of online payment solutions, connecting technical features with simpler benefits for e-commerce and digitally enabled businesses.
- Payment-link proposition: Explaining how merchants could collect payments remotely without a full e-commerce storefront, using accessible examples and clear journeys.
- Bilingual website and campaign delivery: Producing and guiding English/Arabic content across product pages, apps, campaigns, brochures, presentations, events and customer communications.
- Editorial and search operations: Launching and managing the bilingual corporate blog through WordPress and Elementor, overseeing approximately 200 posts annually while aligning topics with SEO, product education and marketing priorities.
- Marketing governance: Establishing editorial calendars, tone-of-voice guidance and content standards to support central and local teams across Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE.

The strategic approach
I focused on connecting what the technology does with why a merchant should care. Each product required a message that was clear to business owners, not only to payment specialists. Marketing needed to work across the customer journey from introduction and comparison to product exploration and lead generation, while remaining consistent across English and Arabic.
At an operational level, a recurring editorial calendar and shared standards created a more manageable publishing system for multiple products and markets, instead of disconnected one-off assets.
Outcome
Digital was Geidea's leading customer-acquisition channel during the period discussed. My contribution sat within the broader product marketing, website, content, and campaign operations that supported that channel.
What this demonstrates
In growing fintech businesses, marketing needs to connect product knowledge, customer education, campaigns and scalable content operations. Clear value propositions and disciplined delivery are essential when the product portfolio and the number of people contributing to its marketing continue to expand.
